I looked everywhere on the net for a futon mattress and was pleasantly surprised to find one on Amazon for under $100. The mattress arrived just five days after ordering it and it was in great condition. It is SOOO comfortable! I couldn't even believe how thick it was! The mattress we were replacing was so thin, that you could feel the metal frame underneath you, but with this mattress, it's about three or four times thicker than the standard mattress that futons come with. So very comfortable that you forget it's a futon; it really feels like you are sitting on an actual couch. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a futon at a great price.

We should have been more careful. There is little information provided about the product (length, width, weight, etc) but it looked good so we bought it. Seeing it changed our minds; the frame is very heavy, maybe 60 pounds, and the mattress is on the small size and seems to be all low density foam.

Communicating with the seller on the return was difficult; a series of calls and messages and delays in replying to emails. Cost of return to us is about $90 (we're paying for shipping BOTH ways, it's in the fine print).

I doubt we will do business with the seller again.

Not much sitting/sleeping has been done on this cover yet, so I do not know about its durability. It was easy to put on our futon, though, and the material seems to be of decent quality. It's very soft. It really helped the space, and so I think it was worth the modest price we paid for it.

The cover is exactly as pictured: beautiful color. The fabric has a very soft hand, and the cover was easy to put onto the mattress. Perfect! and a great price.

This futon is much more comfortable than any other futon of comparable price. It's also a little smaller lengthwise than most, but two people can sit very comfortably on it. The bed it folds out into is very comfortable and friends don't mind sleeping on it at all. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that sometimes I have a little trouble with the mattress sliding forward off the frame when it's in a seated position because they aren't connected. Overall a great buy for the money!

I've owned this futon for a year now and there is little I would change about it. It is constructed of solid pine that it is thick and strong. I've used it as a makeshift bed for the year. It has two compfortable positions it can lock into and a thick mattress pad that takes alot of use before it flattens out a little. The decorative sides of the bed come off after awhile, they need to nail them in place better, Overall though it is the best futon you can get for the price. It is not flimsy. The bed folds out into a full bed and has considerable length that a tall person has room for their legs. Purchase this futon if you need a cheap bed and you do not want to buy a cheap flimsy futon. It is a median between a bed and a cheap futon.

The Room Doctor Futon came on time and ahead of schedule but the Back Panel Pieces were deficient and made the assembly of the product difficult. The Back Slats of the Back Panel were shorter than needed for the structure. All I can do now is sit on the futon. I am currently awaiting a response from a customer service representative regarding this matter.

We stained the raw pine a lovely dark oak and it now lives in our den/game room/guest room and provides both comfortable seating for Xbox play as well as a great guest bed.
